Tar Heels Next Head To U.S. Open

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. - Thirteen University of North Carolina swimming student-athletes will be in action at the 2008 United States Open Swimming Championships beginning next Tuesday at the University of Minnesota's Aquatics Center in Minneapolis, Minn. The meet will serve as the qualifying meet for the 2009 World University Games which will be held in Belgrade, Serbia.

The meet begins Tuesday, July 29 and concludes Sunday, August 3.
