General: One of the tri-captains of the 2008-09 Tar Heels ...has the team's top preseason time in the 200 breast at 2:13.21...two-time returning letter winner who was the Tar Heels' top breaststroker during her freshman and sophomore seasons...also competes in the 200 and 400 IM events.
Long Course Highlights: Qualified for the U.S. Olympic Trials in the 100-meter breaststroke, 200-meter breaststroke, 200-meter individual medley and 400-meter individual medley.
2007-08 (Sophomore): Set a career best time in the 100-yard breaststroke at the Bulldog Invitational with a time of 1:02.22, putting her in third place in school history...her time in the 200-yard breaststroke of 2:13.21 also put her at third in school history...her time in the 400-yard individual medley at the Tar Heel Invitational put her in 10th place in school history...named the ACC Women's Swimmer of the Week on January 15, 2008 after taking first in three individual events and swimming a leg in the winning relay against Clemson and Rutgers... finished fourth at the ACC Championships in the 400-yard IM...was a member of the 400-yard medley relay team that finished third at the ACC Championships...finished fourth at the ACC Championships in the 200 breaststroke...finished 19th in the 200-yard breaststroke at the 2008 NCAA Division I Women's Swimming and Diving Championships with a time of 2:13.45.
2006-07 (Freshman): Competed at the NCAA Championships in both individual and relay events...reached NCAA B qualifying standards in each of her three individual events at the ACC Championships...took second in the 200-yard individual medley with a career best time of 2:01.51, fourth best in school history...also set a career best in the 400 IM with a 4:20.25 which landed her third place in the championship final...took third in the 200-yard breaststroke...named ACC Women's Swimmer of the Week on January 22, 2007...her season best 1:03.21 in the 100 breast her tied for fourth in school history...named an All-Conference Performer in the 200 breast, 200 individual medley and 400-yard individual medley.
